Antique Leica cameras have enormous value for collectors: in particular, Leica O-Series No. 105 sold for around $15 million. It turns out to be the most expensive camera ever sold. If you have a Leica model, have it appraised.

Susse Frères Daguerreotype
The Susse Freres was the most expensive camera ever sold, until the Leica No. 122 (and later the Leica O-Series No. 105) beat it to the top spot. The value of the Susse Freres was around £617,000 ($775,000). Only two cameras were produced. Also of enormous value is the 'Discovered Daguerreotype', which was sold in 2007 for £502,689 ($792,333).
