Banksy's first solo exhibition in over a decade

Starting next 18 June, the GoMA in Glasgow (Scotland) will host its first solo exhibition in over a decade.

The title of the exhibition is "Cut & Run: 25 Years of Paper Work" and visitors will have the opportunity to admire some of the original stencils that the artist used to create his most famous works such as Mobile Lovers or Kissing Coppers as well as new versions of the originals.

The choice of the city of Glasgow would not be random at all. It is precisely in this city that Banksy's favourite artwork in the UK would be housed.

The non-random choice of Glasgow
The choice of the city of Glasgow would not be random at all. It is in this very city that Banksy's favourite work of art in the UK would be housed, namely the statue of the Duke of Wellington outside the Gallery of Modern Art hosting his exhibition.

Artist's statements
Banksy has anticipated that the exhibition will include work that has never been seen before and that until now had been concealed to prevent the artist from having any legal problems.
